Thank you so much for your interest in becoming a Gold Hope Project Photographer! We are so thankful for all our volunteers and the work they do for our families.
The Gold Hope Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that facilitates photography of fighters and survivors of childhood cancer. We help children (infants - 21 years old) who have been diagnosed with cancer of any form. No matter the prognosis, the fight is still waged and we support these families, including those that have won their battle with cancer.
All photographers are volunteering their time to the Gold Hope Project, in order to help the families.
This agreement sets out details between the volunteer photographer and The Gold Hope Project (“TGHP”). Upon completion of this form, your information will be reviewed. If criteria is met (please see volunteer information for specific criteria) you will be accepted as a volunteer photographer for The Gold Hope Project.

1. Facilitating Arrangements. The Gold Hope Project is the organization that matches photographers and families. Photographers agree to keep TGHP updated on all assigned sessions and to complete sessions within four weeks or contact TGHP to have them reassigned. Do you agree?

2. Volunteers. Photographers are donating their time as volunteers. Photographers agree to not charge or solicit sales for profit from families. However, if the family approaches the Photographer regarding a purchase of prints, then the Photographer may enter such discussions. Violations will result in immediate termination from the project. Do you agree?

3. Marketing/PR/Media/Fundraising. The Gold Hope Project's national board is responsible for all marketing, PR, media, and/or fundraising efforts. The Photographer may contact The Gold Hope Project organization about any such leads or promotional projects. Should a Photographer become aware of such an opportunity, the Photographer should send it to the national board. This is a necessary step as a national 501(c)(3) organization. Do you agree?

4. Artistic Rights. The Photographer retains the right of discretion in selecting the photographic materials released to The Gold Hope Project. The Gold Hope Project will then release the photos to the client. Do you agree?

5. Photographic Materials. All photographic materials, including but not limited to negatives, transparencies, proofs, and previews, shall be the exclusive property of The Gold Hope Project. Do you agree?

6. Copyright and Reproductions. The Gold Hope Project shall retain a joint copyright in all images created for The Gold Hope Project and shall have the exclusive right to make reproductions for, including but not limited to, marketing materials, portfolio entries, sample products, editorial submissions and use, or for display. If the Photographer desires to use any of the images, the Photographer shall first obtain the written permission of The Gold Hope Project. Do you agree?

7. Social Media. After The Gold Hope Project shares photos, images, and blog post links through a variety of social media forms (such as Facebook), then the Photographer may also do so. The Gold Hope Project will obtain a release from the Family to do so. If the Photographer shares such images, then the Photographer should include a link to The Gold Hope Project on such photos and shall include The Gold Hope Project’s logo. Do you agree?

8. Failure to Perform. If the Photographer is unable to perform this agreement due to illness, emergency, fire, casualty, strike, act of God or causes beyond the control of the Photographer, the Photographer and Client shall make every attempt to reschedule the session. If a reschedule is unable to be agreed upon, The Gold Hope Project will find a new Photographer. Do you agree?

9. Photographer. Photographer agrees to respond to communications from TGHP within 72 hours. In the event TGHP is not able to get in touch with the Photographer, after one warning, the Photographer will be terminated from their association with the Gold Hope Project. Should the Photographer fail to perform, The Gold Hope Project will make photographer substitutions. Do you agree?

10. Other. The Gold Hope Project reserves the right to reassign a photographer at any time. Should the Photographer fail to perform or meet the conditions of this agreement, or whenever it is in the best interest of The Gold Hope Project to do so, The Gold Hope Project can remove the Photographer from the network of photographers. Little Heroes Inc. is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization that facilitates photography with terminally ill children (18 and younger) and terminally ill adults with children (18 and younger).
All photographers are volunteering their time to Little Heroes Inc. in order to help the families. This agreement sets out details between the volunteer photographer and Little Heroes Inc. (LH). Upon completion of this form, your information will be reviewed. If criteria is met (please see volunteer information for specific criteria) you will be accepted as a volunteer photographer for Little Heroes.
